Ian has a background in high school and special education teaching in South Australia and Broken Hill. He has worked several times with SIL in PNG as both a Literacy Supervisor and recently as the Highlands Audio Project Manager, overseeing the recording of translated Scriptures onto Megavoice players.

He will be living in Adelaide and is keen to share with Christian schools, Bible Colleges, small groups and churches, to inspire people to become involved in the work of Bible translation.
